    • INTERMEDIATE & BEGINNER MODEL-ROCKET-BUILDING KITS: These Estes model rocket kits offer kids ages 10+ the chance to build 3 models. They include 4 Alpha (beginner), 4 Viking (intermediate), and 4 Generic EX2 (beginner) rocket model kits with engine mounts, design decals, recovery parachutes, and instructions. Each rocket requires rocket engines, a launch pad system, Starters, Recovery Wadding, and 4 high-quality 1.5-volt AA alkaline batteries for launch use (sold separately).
    • 3 DIFFERENT PROJECTED ALTITUDES: These fun model rockets have the following projected altitudes when used with a C6-7 Estes model-rocket engine (sold separately): Alpha: 1,000 ft. (305 m); Viking: 1,600 ft. (488 m); Generic E2X: 1,325 ft. (404 m). Compatible engines also include 1/2A6-2, A8-3, A8-5, B4-4, B6-4, B6-6, or C6-5 rocket engines.
    • READY TO ASSEMBLE: Rocket building inspires creativity and a passion for science and outer space! Our intermediate- and beginner-level rocket-building bulk pack comes with ready-to-build rockets that require approximately 10 minutes of assembly time per E2X rocket and 1 hour of assembly time per Alpha and Viking rocket. Add the included decals and pair the rockets with the right engines, Porta-Pad II Launch Pad, and Electron Beam Launch Controller (sold separately) for blastoff.
    • SAFETY FIRST, FUN ALWAYS: Our rockets are designed to be used with the NAR (National Association of Rocketry) model-rocket safety code. Always ensure you have an appropriate launch site, stand back at least 15 ft., insert the safety key, issue a countdown, and then you can let your rocket fly!

    What’s Included and What is Needed to Build and Launch

    WHAT IS INCLUDED: Alpha: Engine mount, engine hook, adapter ring, parachute, body tube, nose cone, fins, shock cord and mount launch lug and decal. Viking: Engine block, fins, spacer tool, launch lug, shock cord and mount, body tube, nose cone and insert, streamer and decal. Generic E2X: Engine mount, engine hook, retainer ring, engine block, fin unit, adapter ring, body tube, launch lug, shock cord and mount, nose cone, parachute and decal.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Alpha: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, hobby knife, masking tape, primer (white) and paint (red, white). Viking: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, plastic cement, hobby knife, masking tape, clear tape, primer (white) and paint (green, yellow). Generic E2X: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, hobby knife and masking tape.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH: Porta-Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller, Estes engines, starters and recovery wadding.
